It was extremely foggy as we try to find our way from La Riviere to St. Leon for the very first time. Beyond the trees, nothing but white was to be seen. It was a slow journey but eventually the fog lifted and we were able to pick up the pace.

Our last ride took us through the Whiteshell, Pinawa, Lee River and on through Lac Du Bonnet. Here on the Brightstone trail at 275 miles we have yet another 50 miles until we arrive home. It was a great end to the late starting, early ending season of 2011/12.

At Stefanuik Trail's I-doo hut. After several miles of shaking branches to be able to pass, we tired and decided to find somewhere more open to ride.
